\u201cit\u2019s modern, it\u2019s scalable, it\u2019s what the big players do.\u201d
Reality hits fast: without experience and strategy, microservices can blow up in your face.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Monolith vs. Microservices: what they really mean<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBefore picking a side, let\u2019s cut through the jargon:\n\n\nMonolith<\/b>\u2013 The backend, logic, and database all live inside one application.\n\n\n\nMicroservices<\/b>\u2013 The app is broken into independent pieces that talk to each other\n\n(payment API, users, notifications, etc.).\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

From our experience, these guidelines save a lot of headaches:
Early-stage product or low traffic \u2192 go monolith for speed and less pain.<\/p>

Product with clearly separable modules \u2192 microservices start to make sense.<\/p>

Team with little CI\/CD, container, or distributed-monitoring experience \u2192 microservices = guaranteed nightmare.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

We\u2019ve seen projects start as monoliths, grow in features, and later \u201csplit\u201d into microservices.<\/p>

The usual result? More time coordinating deployments, bugs that are nearly impossible to debug, and ghost services degrading silently.<\/p>

Splitting without strategy is just multiplying problems.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
